Dr. Rosa is from Chicago but moved to San Francisco early in her childhood. She graduated from the Western University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rosa has worked in general practice, emergency, and what she likes to call “street medicine,” offering free clinics serving pets of the homeless across the state. These experiences contributed to building her determination to improve every animal’s quality of life, which encouraged her to learn more about the benefits of integrative medicine and obtain her certification in veterinary acupuncture. Dr. Rosa is now certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and practices it here in our hospital, along with massage and laser therapy.
In her free time, Dr. Rosa likes to hang out at home with her dog Charlie and her cats, Ani, Miles, and Willie.
